Office of Equity & Inclusion
The Carthage community is committed to fostering integrity, civility, and justice. Aiming to learn from each other, we reject all forms of prejudice and discrimination.
All academic and administrative departments at Carthage are committed to the success of all of our students. Initiatives include:
- ARISE Program for all first-year students
- Bias Education Response Team
- Carthage Bound Program for all male student-athletes
- Equity and Inclusion Certificate Program for faculty and staff
- Faculty Panel Series
- Social Justice Education Workshops
About the Engagement and Inclusion Center
Open to all members of the Carthage community, the Engagement and Inclusion Center is located in the Todd Wehr Center. The center is committed to promoting the well-being and growth of all students, including underrepresented and historically marginalized students. The center holds events and sociocultural programs that educate, encourage, and advocate for all students by fostering integrity, civility, and justice.
The EIC works to deliver an inclusive environment that facilitates student engagement, equitable practices, and collaborative programming within the Carthage community. All are welcome.
